Welcome to Waelbers Management Consulting

Waelbers Management Consulting helps organizations grow and improve. We have been doing this for more than 25 years. We have worked for ArcelorMittal, Bekaert, Belfius, Borealis, GSK, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, … and many others including smaller companies.

Clients work with us because we listen to their problems, work in tailor made ways, bring in outside expertise and help with implementation. We adapt our methodology to the problem and not the other way around. That’s why we always look at the broader picture. What do the processes look like? In what ways are they affected by changes in the external environment? Is the organizational structure an enabler or a disabler? Is the culture cool or dynamic? What is the leadershipstyle? … We do not stop after the analysis and recommendations but, if desired, also help with implementation so that the desired improvements and/or growth targets are realized.

We are rather small. As a result, relationships with our clients are much more intimate. A good relationship with our clients is a critical factor for a successful project. It is important to us that the proposed solutions are accepted and supported by the customer. This is the only way to achieve success.

We work multidisciplinary whenever possible. In our network we have people from all sorts of backgrounds: engineers, economists, psychologists, sociologists, … They all share the same passion: helping our clients with their improvements and growth ambitions and transferring knowledge and experience so that the client can continue on its own feet.

We have a unique approach in which we combine in-depth expertise with change expertise. This involves working strictly methodologically. Improvement means change and change is complex. Therefore, our approach places very strong emphasis on employee involvement. A solution is only good if it is accepted and supported by the employees.
